The centre offers self catering accommodation in converted cottages and barns, family campsite. Also available are a wide range of activities such as horse riding, archery, climbing, rock hopping (coasteering) and team building courses. Home of the muddiest assault course in the world. Clyne Farm was bought by the present owners - The Haden family - in 1989. At the turn of the century, our grounds and buildings formed part of the Estate of the Vivians of Clyne Castle, the copper barons of Swansea and the world. On the death of the last owner of Clyne Castle - Admiral Hengeage Vivian in 1952 the estate was broken up and sold off in separate lots. Clyne Farm was bought by Alex Coombe Tennant as a wedding present for his wife.

Try your hand at activities or just relax watching the view from our hill overlooking Swansea Bay and the Gower Peninsula midway between Swansea and Mumbles. Our rental costs include bed linen, electricity and heating, and towels. We also provide a 'starter pack' of essentials like toilet paper, black bags and washing up liquid and can arrange food orders at the start of your stay. If the answer is yes, you won't like Challenge Valley!! In most sports, mud is a problem, but for a mud assault course it's essential. It is an obstacle course in the mud. You have to climb over things, jump across things and.... crawl through mud. It's brilliant! The people who tried it, loved it. You can do it in teams or individually. It doesn't matter if you normally hate sports because this is different! You don't need to be fit, you don't need to worry about what you look like because everyone else is as dirty as you. It's fun falling into mud. One of the main reasons for finishing the course as quickly as possible is that as soon as you finish you can have a shower!!!! Our activity programmes can be adapted to suit the needs of any group, regardless of their size or participants ability. Outlined below are our most popular days which have been tried and tested over the past fourteen years. On Site Activity Days - these programmes take place within the confines of the Centre's 80 acre estate. 10.00am - 4.00pm Taster activity and Challenge Valley OR Raft building. Morning - Taster activity session which can include archery, riding, indoor climbing and initiative problems.
