Established in 2000, CLS Dual Fuel Ltd swiftly became one of the countries leading specialist LPG conversion companies based in Northeast England. Providing a tailored solution in alternative fuelled vehicles; covering both the public and private sector markets, the company succeeded in their aim to offer a uniquely convenient service designed to reduce both the running costs of a petrol powered vehicle and its emissions. Nearly seven years on and over one thousand vehicles later CLS are currently installing around two hundred vehicles a year and pride themselves in offering an unrivalled service to their customers.

LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) is the most wide-spread "alternative" fuel for vehicles in the UK - and for good reason: Producing 20% less CO2 than petrol, 120 times less fine particulates than diesel and costing roughly half the price - it's a clear winner for your pocket and for the environment. Plus, there are over 1, 200 filling stations retailing LPG (also known as Autogas) in the UK and that number is growing every day.
Established in 2000 and among the longest serving fully approved members of the LPG Association we at CLS Dual Fuel are experts in LPG. We play a full and active part in defining standards for the LPG Autogas conversion industry. As an official importer and distributor of LPG systems from BRC we have forged close links with the manufacturer who we believe produce the best LPG systems available - designed and manufactured to meet the stringent technological requirements of current and future generations of vehicles.
We have extensive experience in converting everything from Smart Cars to limousines to fleets of vans. We offer cars and light commercial vehicles which are exempt from the London Congestion Charge -a tradesman working in London can save up to £3, 000 a year* in on of our LPG powered Transit vans!
