Detailed description:
The school runs a number of after school clubs. Some are free and run by teaching staff while some are paid for and are run by specialist staff. Every year the Year 6 children attend a long weekend visit to the PGL activity centre in Shropshire. Activities include abseiling, canoeing, pony trecking, quad biking, air rifle shooting, raft building, team building exercises, .
The school PTA organises many fund raising events. Pupils experience a variety of out of school class trips to a variety of locations to support their curriculum work. The Year 6 children take part in an annual cycling proficiency course and attend an annual personal safety course called Crucial Crew run by the local authority.
School teams take part in competitions in football, lacrosse, hockey and cricket. Last summer our cricket team won the Hale Barns Cup and went on to the Cheshire Junior Cricket Finals where they won and represented the school at the NW England junior cricket competition in Warrington
