Clover Hill is an outstanding school which was confirmed by Ofsted June 2007. A school which achieves academic success as well as excelling at care guidance and support for all pupils We believe that by working in partnership with our parents and local community we can ensure children fulfil their potential.
Detailed description:
We offer a wide variety of activities both in and after the school day.
During the school day:
* cross curricular learning captures the imagination of pupils and enhances the learning
* all children learn French from Reception
* excellent links with the local sports college ensures high quality PE provision
* peripatetic music teachers take lessons in violin, guitar, keyboards, clarinet and flute
* regular visits and visitors greatly improve the learning experience
After the school day a variety of clubs are on offer. These have included:
* a wide variety of sports including: football, rugby, cricket, karate, athletics, fitness circuits, box-ercise
* dance lessons such as street dance, irish dancing, pop dancing, cheer leading, break dancing
* music lessons in keyboards, recorder, african drumming
* other activities such as Mad Science, Knitting, Art and Craft, Kite and Mask Making, Circus Skills, The Krypton Factor, Homework Club
A Breakfast Club is available from 7.45am and After School Childcare is available until 6pm.
