The shop may be new but Des McCarley and his friendly team of experts share almost 150 years experience between them. A virtuoso in the art of ski-boot fitting, Des explains why all of the equipment he sells in-store has been tried and tested personally by him and his team; “It’s simple. If we haven’t tried it, we can’t recommend it to our customers.” So seriously do they consider the importance of every customer’s individual needs.
Relaxed members of staff who genuinely know what they’re talking about are complimented by the in-store Climate Travel Desk, where the guys will take care of every travel detail, whether it’s two weeks hiking in America or a weekend’s cruising in the Alps.

I have just read the post by the above customer stating that the staff in this shop are rude.
I was looking for the telephone number when I saw this 'review'...
I have been a customer at Climate since it opened and have found the whole shopping experience there nothing but fantastic.
I have always found the staff friendly and accommodating (even offered coffee and nibbles whilst having ski boots fitted) and have always been given expert advice.
Perhaps the above person was simply there on a very busy day on the run up to Christmas when, from experience the staff in this shop do not have time to breathe!!!
I will remain a very happy customer here and would urge others to go to Climate and make your own mind up!!!...

dorothyunfriendly staff one female assured me that there were only xs sizes (her size) even though she looked about 40 and looked a medium silly chitter between staff we walked out of shop a few people have mentioned the same thing to me won't be back!!!!!!!! lost sale!!!!!
