All treatments are safe in pregnancy. Specific areas may not be
worked on dependent on gestation. Where appropriate, following each
treatment, position of baby is defined and fetal heart rate listened in to
by a qualified midwife.
Detailed description:
My Name is Claire Batchelor (formerly of the Midwifery Centre in Hare Hatch, Nr Maidenhead). I have a baby boy called Max and have recently been on maternity leave. As a new mother, I understand the trials and tribulations of parenthood all to well, especially with a newborn!
I qualified as a midwife in 1999 gaining a diploma in midwifery and became interested in alternative therapies whilst a student midwife. The first therapy I trained in was Indian Head massage and enjoyed it so much (and saw the benefits), that I carried on to study further courses including Baby Massage.
By combining my midwifery skills, knowledge and experience, I am able to offer specialised therapies in a unique and holistic way, whilst tailoring each treatment to your individual need. Although my main focus is maternity therapies, I am also happy to offer normal therapies.
