It's very rare to find someone so approachable, capable and affordable. I've used multiple businesses to tune/alter my vehicle but Circuit motors (Paul especially) seem to be a notch above the rest...

I’ve used circuit motors extensively over the last 3-years. I have a late 60’s lotus Elan and had struggled to find a garage that had the expertise and interest in working on a car that can sometimes be tricky. It’s a bit of a hike for me traveling over from Bristol but now I only trust Circuit Motors with my car and it’s worth the travel. They have specific experience working on both classics and setting up exotic racing machines on the rolling road. They even race tuned the lotus prior to a trip to Classic Le Mans a couple of years ago. I highly recommend them – particularly if you have a special car and need people who really know what they’re doing.

I am sorry my colleague recommended this company,I would not send my worst enemy here. They do not listen to their customers issues.I phoned to hire a vehicle to tow my caravan to north wales. They took my booking ok.When I arrived to collect pickup truck,(a vehicle they took in part exchange 2 weeks previously) at an agreed time, the hire person was not in the office.I waited for 2 hours for the office to open.I did the paperwork & took the pickup truck. When I hooked up the caravan electics the side lights lights did not connect properly.I towed the caravan back to the garage & explained the problem. The mechanic pluged in a tailboard to check. The lights proved to be faulty & he tried the fuses but could not get them on,the tail light on the truck also packed in! I also had a load of firewood in the pickup bed. I could not use the vehicle so they refunded my fee but said I would still have to pay when they fixed the truck. I called two days later to arrange to move my firewood from the pickup to my lockup in Melksham.I did move wood & returned pickup after checking the electrics had been sorted as they said.THEY WERE STILL FAULTY. I arranged with my mate to check my caravan lights were ok.We went over to test caravan lights next day.Lights on caravan proved ok, so we hitched up caravan & went to office to tell them we were moving caravan as their vehicle was not up to towing. The hire person said I would still have to pay? I reluctantly paid part hire as i did not want to leave my caravan there any longer and no other hire vehicle was available. PLEASE AVOID USING THIS COMPANY AS THEY DO NOT VALUE THEIR CUSTOMERS OR VIEWS BEWARE

Pass this place by and hold on to your wallet and your car. After taking in my van to fit a new Alternator, these people took over one week to perform this simple task. This meant I had to pay for a train back home to London and a few days later return again, by train obviously, to finally collect my van. But wait, the story isn't over, because only one week later my new alternator went again. It's my belief, as an ex-mechanic, these conmen simply fitted a faulty alternator and that they did it knowingly. I had to call in my AA cover and again organise a towtruck. Needless to say I had to pay yet again for the train back to London. Five short days later (lucky me, last time they took over a week) they finally announced the completion of this simple task. I might add that someone went through my glove compartment, which at first they denied but when provided with evidence claimed it was to search for my wheelnut. To this day the whereabouts of my TomTom's memory card is a mystery to me. In general any telephone conversation with anyone from this garage ended in frustration and the distinct impression that lying, buckpassing and general ignorance is the order of the day. But all is not lost at Circuit Motor Garage, because In their defense, I have to say they expertly relieved me of my money. To the tune of £937.67 ! After 12 days ! and £120 on train fares ! All because of an alternator. If anyone requires a more compact assesment of this Establishment, it is this: If you value your time and money, give these unpleasant conmen a very wide berth. Glen and Barry, you know who you are.

I also used this garage, I had previously had a pre-mot check done by another garage, which gave me a list of essentials and advisories, I decided to hire a car from SIXT which Circuit Motors purport to be a part of (It subsequently turns out that they have not been affiliated with SIXT for over a year). Anyway, I hired the car (£180 per week) using my friends credit card! and left my car in the safe hands of Mark Farmer. Three weeks late, my car was ready and I was told that "Everything has been done, new MOT and all safe" Later on the M5 my inner wheel arch fell off into the path of traffic behind me, I investigated further and found that the brakles had not been replaced, the brake pipe had not been fixed DO NOT USE THEM they are a danger and should not be giving MOT's, also do not hire from them, they are nothing to do with SIXT even though on their rental agreements it says SIXT! Leave well alone !!!!!
