Christopher Brummitt is a member of the RIBA national CPD sub committee advising RIBA Council on CPD policy and was Hon. Treasurer for RIBA North East Region/CPD Northumbria Branch for 8 years: undertakes CPD following RIBA guidelines: is a founder member of the RIBA Northern CPD Club and is a member of Gateshead MBC, City of Sunderland and South Tyneside MBC Services Review Panels. He has undertaken several CDM: Designer's Obligation seminars organised by HSE, CITB and CBPP and has completed Risk Assessments for client organisations. The Practice has a CDM and HSE Assessment Policy and has assisted HSE Newcastle to establish a pilot evaluation project at Pelton Fell for Bellway/ Nomad Housing and Chester-le-Street Council. The Practice is currently applying for Constructionline membership
