Short profile:
The school believes that a wide and balanced curriculum is the key to fostering a child’s passion for learning. The basic curriculum is enhanced by workshops in Science, Design Technology, Music, History, Dance, Drama and Sport as well as a comprehensive range of educational visits designed to inspire and support learning across all subject areas. Year 6 children spent a week at an outdoor pursuits centre in Devon.
We have greatly increased the provision of after school clubs and run a full programme which includes a range of sports, drama, science, dance, gymnastics. There are also some lunchtime activities. We respond to feedback from parents and pupils in determining the variety and range activities.
