Detailed description:
Chickenshed was the first centre to teach inclusive performing arts. Today, we still lead the way. Our courses - at BTEC, Foundation Degree, and MA level - are nationally recognised and accredited to both Edexcel and Middlesex University.
BTEC Extended Diploma in Performing Arts-
The BTEC Extended Diploma in Performing Arts is a two year full time course, nationally recognised as an equivalent to three A-levels by Edxcel.
Foundation Degree in Inclusive Performance-
The Foundation Degree in Inclusive Performance is a two year, full-time course. It is nationally recognised as an accredited qualification, as well as a pathway to a full BA qualification.
Chickenshed created the ShedLink inclusive theatre training and development programme in 2000 in order to impact on the performing arts provision in the U.K. by creating a wider and deeper understanding of inclusive theatre practice.
