Chevin Trek also specialise in stocking out of season products so if you are planning a winter sun holiday or a mountaineering or ski trip in the summer months we will still have equipment in stock for you. All our staff are keen outdoors types - we test the clothing and equipment we sell.

Chevin Trek is based in Otley, a small market town in West Yorkshire, between Leeds, Bradford, Harrogate, Skipton and close to Ilkley. Chevin Trek is surrounded by excellent walking country such as the 'Chevin' Hill behind the shop, Ilkley Moor, the Wharfedale and Washburn valleys and the Yorkshire Dales National Park. So why not stop for a walk when you visit us. Each year Otley is also home to the Otley Walking Festival now in its 10th year and famed for its unique blend of walking and non-walking entertainment related to the outdoors during its 9 day period.
Our staff are all regular walkers who test the outdoor clothing and equipment they sell and are able to give unbiased and informative advice. Indeed we enjoy the chance to pass on our knowledge. Our business has grown by 'word of mouth' recommendation over the last 20 years and we feel that advertising doesn't come any better than that.
