Detailed description:

Established by Navin Engineer, Chemidex Pharma began as a retail pharmacy chain with the purchase of the 1st pharmacy in 1981. Chemidex soon expanded with further strategic acquisitions to become one of the UK’s largest multiple retail pharmacy chains in the 1990’s. Taking the company in a new direction, the retail outlets were divested in 1999 and Chemidex established itself as a pharmaceutical company by the acquisition of its first brand in 2000. Since then, further acquisitions of ethical brands, for UK and Ireland markets, from various global pharmaceutical companies such as Elan, GSK & Solvay as well as in-house developments of branded pharmaceuticals has made Chemidex Pharma into the company it is today. In addition, Chemidex Pharma specialises in licensing distinctive formulations and has a great deal of experience in supplying creams, ointments, oral suspensions, oral solutions, syrups, suppositories, capsules, as well as tablets.
