Cheltenham Volunteer Centre (CVC) recruits and places volunteers with voluntary, community and other non-profit organisations operating in Cheltenham and surrounding districts. The office is open for appointments from 10:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday. Volunteer opportunities can be viewed at www.do-it.org.uk.
The centre also offers support for organisations with recruitment of volunteers and best practise guidance. Cheltenham Community Transport (CCT) on 01242-515388 (see separate record) provides a range of low cost accessible transport services for older, frail and disabled people in Cheltenham, and to organisations set up to provide services to these groups.
