CHASE TERRACE TECHNOLOGY COLLEGE

Chase Terrace Technology College is justly proud of its DCSF awarded specialist school status as a Technology College. Pupils, staff, parents and our extended local community have benefited from leading edge practice in the Technology College subjects of Maths, Science and D&T. The school as a whole feels like a centre of technological excellence with interactive whiteboards in every classroom, labour saving technology helping to enhance the efficiency of the school and teachers who integrate ICT into most of their lessons.

The school has witnessed a substantial injection of energy and enthusiasm in the Technology field - led by the staff from specialist subjects with obvious whole school benefits. Our curriculum has changed to embrace the Technology College subjects and we have been able to work closely with our family of schools, developing cross phase curriculum projects. All of this has been supported by the considerable increased funding that we receive from the DCSF. Chase Terrace Technology College is also the only RM Pioneer School in Staffordshire. This reflects the schools ambitious plans in the field of ICT. The school has developed a strong link with RM (The UK's leading supplier of ICT equipment to schools) embracing as we do the newest technologies available in the educational domain.
