Charsley Harrison can trace its roots back to the late nineteenth century. Initially it served the local community, but with the advent of technology, there is now no geographical limit to the location of the firm’s clients.

The firm has two offices - Windsor and Slough. Both offices have client car parking and are conveniently served by train and bus.

Slough office is five minutes walk from the main railway station – 20 minutes from Paddington and is midway between Junctions 5 and 6 on the M4.

Windsor office is also in the town centre and enjoys the benefit of two railway stations – Windsor and Eton Riverside (55 mins from Waterloo) and Windsor and Eton Central (30 minutes from Paddington via Slough).

The firm offers a comprehensive personal service to all its clients whether private clients or major corporations. Over a number of years the firm has built up relationships with law firms overseas to improve the service offered to clients.

The firm has a Notary Public at each of its offices.

The Partners are assisted by a number of assistant solicitors and legal assistants. The Partnership Secretary, Allan Hodge FCA, manages the efficient accounts department and deals with many administrative matters.

The firm normally has two trainees at any one time.

Charsley Harrison undertakes a broad range of commercial work for both small and large clients.

This includes commercial property transactions (being dealings with freehold properties and leasehold properties including advice on security of tenure under the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954), acquisition and disposal of businesses – it may be a small shop or it may be a company with operations overseas – and commercial agreements such as distribution agreements.
