This has been a family business since June 1984 and celebrated its 25th Anniversary in June 2009. Charles French is owned and run by John and Sandra Ricketts and their son Ian Ricketts. The shop offers distinctive clothing in both casual and formal wear for the discerning gentleman.
Detailed description:
The location at 36 Sheep Street is just around the corner from the Royal Shakespeare Theatre and the shop has had the pleasure of meeting many famous actors. There is a selection of the actors photographs who have visited the shop over the years for customers to view on some of the walls and in the fitting room, which makes interesting conversation, as many of the customers are theatre patrons.
The shop has a wide variety of casual and formal wear in exclusive labels and sizes, the family are more than willing to advise or help with customer’s requirements.

Vivian Stevens Their main focus is on female clothes but you can find cute clothing for children and men as well, not to mention the great prices. The shelves are well organized and clean. I can always find awesome t shirts here.
