The Instock Group was started in 1974 in Aberdeen as a pure disposables company to service the growing offshore oil and gas industry. Over the years we have grown and diversified into one of the largest independent distributors in Scotland serving the cleaning, catering and hospitality sectors with a broad array of products including chemicals, paper hygiene, janitorial supplies, tabletop and catering equipment from pots and pans to heavy equipment used in the biggest commercial kitchens.We also offer a kitchen design, supply and installation service for new build and refurbishment projects.

Under the Instock brand we are now a group of companies whose goal is to bring our clients the very best product choice available and a service to match.
Whilst the main administrative head office is in Aberdeen, we have over 50, 000 sq. ft. of warehousing across our depots in Livingston, Aberdeen, Carlisle and Inverness. With this infrastructure we can offer a comprehensive delivery service throughout Scotland and North West of England
We have fully equipped catering showrooms at our depots in Livingston and Carlisle where we are pleased to welcome visitors and show you an extensive range of catering equipment, crockery, cutlery and glassware.
We pride ourselves on the quality of service we offer to our customers .This together with the quality of product we supply has been the mainstay of the company and the reason behind its growth.
Instock has been an ISO 9001 accredited Registered Stockist since 1993 and obtained ISO 9001:2008 in October 2009.
Instock acquired Grampian Catering Supplies in September 2002 and formed a new division - Instock GCS - which services the Bar, Restaurant and Licensed Trades.
Chandlers was aquired by Instock in March 2006 further widening our services to the catering industry with branches in Carlisle and the central belt of Scotland.
Instock CGS and Chandlers offers a huge range of Glassware, Crockery, Cutlery, Catering Utensils and Equipment. We also provide a service of design, supply and installation of Kitchen, Servery and Front of House for Restaurants, Takeaways and Canteens.
