CHALKSTONE MIDDLE SCHOOL

There is a very full range of clubs and activities available to pupils throughout the year. Many of the clubs take place at lunchtime, and we are also involved in many sporting activities after school. At a recent School Council meeting, one of the good things that the council raised is that everyone has the opportunity to play sport for the school, not only the best players. Despite this (or perhaps because of it) the school is very successful in sports competitions.

The list of activities changes each term, as the weather changes. We are pleased that these activities are sometimes led by past or present pupils.

In addition to these regular extra curricular activities, we also have school trips and visits, visitors to the school, and special themed days. The school has been awarded both ArtsMark Gold and Sportsmark for its excellent curriculum in these areas.
