You don't have to be sporty to injure your back or neck as 8 out of 10 adults in Britain today suffer from lower back, neck and shoulder pain through everyday activities and work related injuries. As stress/anxiety is one of the most common causes for absences from the workplace in the UK, as it manifests itself physically with illness. Whiplash is becoming more and more common in today's society with ever increasing traffic on the road. All of these can benefit greatly from massage therapy.
Our Philosophy is to provide the best, in comfortable surroundings, quality treatments at reasonable prices and exceptional post treatment care with advice on preventative exercise and stretch and with a holistic approach to health and wellbeing.
Detailed description:
In 1992 I qualified as a Fitness & Aerobics Instructor and continued instructing on a freelance basis until 2001. Family commitments and personal circumstances, lead me in a different direction into sales and marketing for the next eight years, but my passion for fitness grew as a hobby in my spare time throughout those years, again participating in many new types of fitness including Yoga, Tai Chi, Power Walking and continuing with Weight Training, Cycling, Running, Swimming and all types of class orientated exercise.
My interest in massage dates back to a child, as I clearly remember massaging my mothers feet of an evening after her days work and over the years, I would always be the one to massage friends or a partner with an aching back or shoulders etc. I have also always enjoyed receiving massage and have learnt about other holistic therapies over the years.

Daniel HooperIt's clear from the start that the Chakra clinic has put a lot of effort into its services. The cosy location is well-looked after, comfortable and relaxing, offering a good choice of treatments at a very reasonable price. The warm Chromatherapy room combined with a full body massage is a particular treat. It's great to get away after a long week at work and Martine is very friendly and helpful. If you need something specific looked at she will be more than willing to adapt the session to focus on your issue. The only disappointment is when the treatment ends!
