Our system room complements our ethos perfectly and is constantly kept up to date with the latest in reprographic technology, hardware and software.
With speed, accuracy and quality the key components in everything we do, our matchpoint proofs (which can run a B1 size in less than 20 mins) are fully calibrated to a press fingerprint to ensure perfect colour matching.
Our fully automatic CTP sends ink profiles via CIP4 link direct to the press hall.
Consistently printing the sharpest dot, as speed with unerring quality has been one of the key components in building Central Colours reputation, and is something at which our latest arrival, a Mitsubishi Diamond 3000 6 colour B1 can claim to be a world leader. It has the ability to apply a range of coatings, from 'luxury matt' to 'high gloss' onto a wide range of substrates and because the sheets are dry as they come off press they can be finished and despatched immediately.
The press hall works around the clock. A CIP4 link from repro sets and profiles and ensures quick make-ready to make small runs cost effective. A running speed of up to 16000 sph means we can print up to a quarter of a million sheets overnight.
