Celtic Chemicals operates from a purpose built 2-acre site that includes a laboratory production and warehousing facilities.

Where possible we produce and analyse to recognised pharmacopoeias - Ph Eur, ACS, FCC, USP/NF. Celtic Chemicals can undertake the development of products designed to meet customer specifications.

Orders dispatched on a 1-2 day delivery service in most instances.

All aspects of quality are strictly monitored under the Company's accreditation with ISO9001: 2000. The company are currently working towards an environmental management system, details to follow.

A significant part of the product range is manufactured in-house. We also manufacture custom formulations and develop products to meet existing customer specifications. Most of our equipment is multipurpose which enables us to develop products within 1-2 weeks. We aim to assist the customer with their chosen project by offering small quantities that are realistically priced.

Our manufacturing techniques are -

Precipitation (e.g. barium chromate, bismuth oxychloride).

Crystallization (e.g. manganese chloride tetrahydrate, cobalt bromide).

Simple neutralisation (e.g. cobalt sulphamate, cobalt citrate).

Two-stage neuralisation (e.g. ammonium cobalt phosphate, cobalt potassium citrate).

Controlled thermal dehydration (e.g. cupric sulphate monohydrate, nickel chloride anhydrous).

Raw materials for production and chemicals for stock & finished products are analysed by a range of techniques -

Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry, Complexometry, Ion Exchange.

Liquid Chromatography, Colorimetry, Gravimetric analysis.
