Castle Stores is a family run business based in Laugharne, Carmarthenshire.Our shop in Laugharne has a wide range of goods, a gift shop with a difference. We sell a wide range of jewellery, scarves and accessories. We have a licence to sell drinks- we stock Penderyn, Wines, Beers and Ciders and will have Cider and other products from Ampleforth Abbey shortly- the first outlet in Wales from this Benedictine monastery based in Yorkshire, in Wales. We support Zaytoun ( the Palestinian Farmers co-op movement) stocking oils, cous-cous dates ad almonds. Biodynamic's is an interest- we have wines, teas and coffee produced using biodynamic methods. A book section- obviously Dylan Thomas is featured, but we have much more-local authors Fflur Dafydd and Catrin Dayfdd, and a wide range of Welsh interest books. The shop has loads more- wooden birds, fish strings, my favourite a hermit crab and Hearts made of Cockle shells. We stock Seeds of Italy seeds-the best in my opinion, some nice gardening kit and Joseph Joseph range of kitchen equipment-love it.
