Carylls is a beautiful manor house, dating back over 400 years, and has been carefully restored and converted to offer a range of generously sized double and single studio rooms, providing serviced and convenient accommodation in a stunning countryside setting. Carylls Country House has 23 spacious double and single en-suite rooms, all with fully-equipped kitchenette and sitting area, and boasts a magnificent lounge area, complete with huge open fireplaces, luxurious leather sofas and wonderful carved oak panelling. All the rooms include a flat-screen television with DVD and free unlimited broadband.
Other facilities include two large fully-equipped kitchen areas with ovens; a laundry area complete with washing, drying and ironing facilities; and free on-site parking. Bed linen, towels and weekly maid service is included.
Set amidst the beautiful West Sussex countryside, in five acres of private landscaped gardens, Carylls Country House is a haven of peace and tranquillity, yet is only a short drive from Crawley and Horsham. Gatwick Airport is just 15 minutes away, and Faygate has its own station with links to London Victoria and the south coast.

James LambertStaying at Carylls Country House is truly a pleasure. The rooms are comfortable and all en-suite, with fridges and microwaves, which is very convenient. The house itself is stunning with lots of history and original features.
The staff are fantastic and really help make your stay at Carylls a pleasant one. Everyone is friendly and helpful, and truly go out of their way to help. Michael the manager is super efficient, Neil and Dave along with the others are incredibly helpful and work so hard. Peter is a lovely chap and helps with the cleaning.
One of Carylls most wonderful assets is the grounds in which it is kept. Beautiful, green, open land, of some acres, which is stunning to behold and kept to the most exacting standards. The groundsmen really come into their own here. The lawn is spacious and a joy to sit out or gaze upon, year round.
Location wise, Carylls ticks all the boxes too. It is near two local villages and plenty of shops. It has a train station, and Gatwick is 20 minutes away.
Carylls has been a home to me. Thanks to the great effort the staff put in, and the attention to detail, I have been very happy here. I don’t hesitate to recommend Carylls as the perfect place to stay.

P&DHWe stayed at Carylls for a weekend away. The journey was an easy one by train into London then a connection from Victoria to Faygate station. We were made welcome by Michael the Manager and Jan his wife. Our room was clean and well equipped, with ensuite and a kitchenette furnished with crockery, cutlery, sink, microwave and fridge. Towels and linen were provided, as was a welcome pack of tea, milk, &c. Furniture was suitable for long or short stay, including a TV and free broadband. The rooms had not long been refurbished. There were also equipped communal kitchens for more adventurous cooking, and a launderette. Our room overlooked the magnificent gardens. There was free car parking for those who needed it. There is a lot to see and visit round and about, and pubs and restaurants for those who do not wish to cook. We had a good time.

just a brief note before i move on tomorrow to say many thanks for your help during my five week stay.
Of the many B&B's and hotels i have spent time in,Carylls has offered a unique difference as all the facilities are available without any feeling you are in 'someone else's' home and yet at such attractive rates. All the staff have been great without exception and i will be sorry to move from a very idyllic and calm location just as this lovely spring weather begins to transform the charming grounds.
Yes, a very comfortable set up... perfect !!

MichaelExcellent place. I have booked an En-suite room permanently. At the price Carylls charge, I am much better off than looking for hotel rooms each time I come over to the UK.
