We offer respite from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and pride ourselves on our first class hospitality, assuring you of a comfortable stay. For dining, there is an excellent choice of restaurants nearby, particularly in the neighbouring villages of Nayland, Stoke by Nayland and Assington with food ranging from homely country pub meals to restaurant cuisine.

Carter’s Corner is an individually designed single storey B&B featuring a wealth of exposed English oak beams. Set in tranquil surroundings at the end of a leafy lane overlooking orchards and farmland, the B&B is perfectly positioned for local countryside walks and is an ideal base for exploring Constable Country and East Anglia’s Heritage Villages. The Studio is a self contained south facing suite with its own entrance. It has the option of B & B or room only . If room only a welcome breakfast pack will be provided. A spacious living/bedroom with a double bed and pull out bed settee suitable for young children, it has a kitchen area and en suite toilet and shower room.
There is a flat screen Freeview TV and internet access facilities. The Cherry Tree Room is an extremely comfortable south facing double room with a stunning vaulted en suite providing a power shower, heated towel rails, and under floor heating. A flat screen tv and free wifi access is provided along with tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast is served in the spacious oak beamed kitchen. There is a varied breakfast menu offering a wide choice.
Wherever possible we try to source our food locally and dairy products are organic. Leavenheath village is situated on the Suffolk / Essex border, between the market town of Sudbury, birthplace of the artist Thomas Gainsborough, and the oldest recorded town in England, Colchester. It is the perfect base for those wishing to explore the local walks, rivers and cycle rides or to hop in a car and discover the surrounding activities and places of interest.
