Short profile:

I qualified as a homeopath in 1990 and I am registered with The Society of Homeopaths. I have been a practicing homeopath for the past 18 years, and have worked in various complementary therapy clinics, a private maternity home, an HIV drop in centre and I also have my own private practice in Southampton.

Detailed description:

Like many homeopaths I became interested in homeopathy through personal experience of illness and treatment. A long time ago when I was in my teens I contracted glandular fever and subsequently experienced recurrent bouts of glandular fever every month for several years, I had been virtually brought up on antibiotics and felt that this had significantly undermined my health. A friend suggested that I see a homeopath; I had no idea what homeopathy was but decided to give it a go as conventional medicine had nothing to offer me. I only had to see this homeopath twice and since then I have never had a recurrence of the glandular fever.
