Detailed description:
Reflexology may bring relief to a wide range of acute and chronic conditions, encourages deep relaxation and the vital force within our body to heal itself. The therapist assists the client’s own internal healing by applying specific therapeutic massage to all areas of the feet and/or hands where stagnant circulation accumulates and it is an extremely relaxing form of treatment.
Essential oils are blended with a carrier oil(s) and are best absorbed through the skin via massage and enter the bloodstream and organs to help with the healing process before being excreted. Therefore it is best not to shower or bath for 6-8 hours after a treatment as it takes a few hours for the oils to circulate around the body.
Indian head and shoulder massage or “Champissage” has been practised for over a thousand years in India and has always played an important part in the Indian lifestyle. It was traditionally practised by women to keep their long hair in beautiful condition.
Flower essences have been used for thousands of years by many different cultures to treat emotional care and wellbeing.
