CARERS NETWORK WESTMINSTER

Updated more than 6 months ago

Short profile:

We have a vision of a city where the role of carers is recognised, supported and celebrated.

Carers Network Westminster was formed in 1991 as a small group of interested carers and became a charity in 1997. Carers Network Westminster has moved premises three times and is now based at the Beethoven Centre since May 2001. Carers Network Westminster became affiliated to the Princess Royal Trust for Carers in 2000.

Detailed description:

We are a membership organisation where carers and those who support them are invited to join on the approval of the Board of Trustees. Members meet annually to elect the trustees and approve any changes to our governing document (our Memorandum and Articles of Association). The Board of Trustees is responsible for overseeing the organisation, making sure it complies with appropriate legislation, setting the vision and strategy for the organisation.
