Everything starts with an understanding of what your business is already doing to train and develop your workforce. In a consultative approach we then assess your current training programmes, advise on any gaps identified that may be required as part of the qualification curriculum and suggest suitable qualifications that reflect your workforce and business needs. We deliver a wide range of vocational training, work-based learning courses, to achieve NVQs, apprenticeships, life skills and key skills. We offer impartial and free advice about all aspects of learning and courses. Vocational training, work-based learning programmes delivered in your workplace. The benefit of this type of training is that the learner earns-while-they-learn.
All vocational training is co-ordinated with the employer to ensure it meets their specific business needs and requirements, but is also designed so that the individual learner achieves nationally accredited and recognised vocational qualifications such as NVQs, Apprenticeships, Advanced apprenticeships or Technical certificates. This is one of the most popular types of qualification achievable through our learning programmes. With training delivered in the workplace, the individual learner benefits from the practical “on the job” experience that is relevant to their role and enhances their skills through a combination of training modules and programmes. Apprenticeships consist of three elements which focus on the development of the individual learner: An NVQ at Level 2 or Level 3. Key skills - essential skills that are vital in any employment.
A technical certificate - which provides the underpinning knowledge required. There are two levels of apprenticeship. Apprenticeships – achieving NVQ Level 2, equivalent to 4-5 GCSE’s at Grades A-C. Advanced apprenticeships – achieving NVQ Level 3, equivalent to 2 A levels.
