Short profile:

There is an extensive range of after school and lunchtime clubs available to the children as well as a growing number of evening clubs for children of the community.The older children have enjoyed a very successful residential trip to Kingswood.

Children in Year 6 have had many opportunities of liaising with Comberton Village College. This enables them to become familiar with the school, its teachers and their new class mates. They have received Science, Literacy and Spanish lessons from CVC staff and attended a science challenge afternoon, also they attended an athletics festival and several Maths challenges.  Year 5 children were invited to take part in a Swimming Gala at CVC. The Year 4 pupils participated in an athletics festival run by the county sports partnership.

The children are able to take up the option of a music lesson, French or Spanish lessons if they wish, in school time.

The year 5 & 6, mixed Cricket team participated in the local Cricket festival.

Year 1 attended a multi skills event and Year 2 attended a Tennis festival both at CVC.

Year 3 had several inspiring visits to Childerly Farm to support their understanding of the agricultural environment and industry
