C2k is managed by the Western Education and Library Board on behalf of the other education and library boards and the Department of Education. C2k is part financed by the EU Building Sustainable Prosperity structural fund.
The C2k project provides the infrastructure and services to support the enhanced use of ICT in schools in Northern Ireland. To fulfill its overall remit, C2k operates across five main divisions of Service Delivery, Service Development, Service Integration, Implementation and Contract Management. The Management Board of the Project is comprised of the Managers of these division, along with the Project Director, and takes responsibility for the day to day delivery of all aspects of the C2k eSchools services.
