Short profile:
We hold a homework club each day after school, and offer a wide range of activities and clubs.
There is an extensive programme of well attended sports practices and fixtures at both luncgtime and afterschool
Drama club is one of the most popular in the school
Art and music clubs, including the choir are thriving
We have an extensive range of extended school activities, the programme of which is generated from student choices aftyer they have tried over 100 activities at the biennial Go for It festival. These include:
Golf
Belly dancing
Yoga
Boxercise
Street Dance
Contemporary dance
There are many trips abroad eg. to France, Spain and Germany and expeditions eg. to Madagascar, and Iceland.
There are theatre trips, visits to museums, Houses of Parliament, religious venues and art galleries, to list just a few.
Students take part in Young Enterprise, debating, science 'space camps', charity fund-raising, rugy and netball tours to South Africa, competitions and more.
Older students mentor younger ones, and prefects assist with the daily running of the school.
There are many opportunities for students to take on responsibilities such as library supervisers, stage crew, student council representatives, sports reps., prefects, media reps and eco reps.
