Throughout the school children build on the basics of spelling, grammar, and punctuation to produce a stunning variety of writing.
Reading for meaning is taught through a variety of techniques, with children working individually, in groups, or as a whole class to understand and interpret a huge range of texts.
At Burbage pupils learn a broad range of all the literary skills that they will find both practical and intellectually stimulating.
