Buckfield Group audits its operational Health and Safety performance through both internal and external audit and have an enviable operational health and safety record. Buckfield Group have been active on a number of nuclear licensed sites for some ten years, during this time we have provided demolition, decommissioning and construction related services to a variety of clients, including Hertel, RWE NUKEM, UKAEA and Johnson Controls, and continue to do so.
Buckfield Group was formed in 1995 in response to a growing demand for responsive decommissioning and dismantling services. In what is now more than 10 years of operational activity, the company now provides a range of construction related services to both public and private sector clients on a nationwide basis.

The company thrives on customer focused service delivery, as a result we enjoy an exceptional level of repeat business. We want our customers to keep returning, and of course for new companies to join our list of prestigious clients. Since the demolition of the A40 complex of buildings on the Winfrith site back in 1998, Buckfield Group have undertaken some 60 separate projects on such sites. Culminating recently in the removal of the Zebra reactor complex, Winfrith Technology Centre, for UKAEA. Our comprehensive understanding of requirements on such sites has enabled us to provide ever improving levels of service delivery, coupled with an ever broadening scope of work. The services provided by Buckfield Group to retail and construction oriented clients is also provided on nuclear licensed sites. The same focus on safe working practices, detailed methodologies and assessment of risk is applied across all Buckfield activities, but is particularly relevant on such sites.
