For bespoke light sculptures we like to employ highly skilled, local craftsmen such as Sculptors, Stonemasons, Carpenters, Blacksmiths, Glass Blowers and Engineers, thereby adding their skills and knowledge to the process, helping us create original and well crafted pieces to the most exacting standards.

Bespoke feature lights and illuminated sculptures are designed by Bruce Munro himself. When it comes to a feature light, more often than not something spectacular and dramatic is required. Chandeliers, wall lights, standing lights, pendants, table lights: Bruce Munro designs all of these to suit a particular space or project.

Some of his chandeliers are modular fibre optic pieces with colour-changing capability, which are adapted to suit different spaces.

A team of highly skilled local British engineers and craftsmen - glass blowers, metal turners, carpenters - make the components which are assembled by the team at the Bruce Munro workshop.

With careful planning and design we deliver both the subtle and the spectacular, as appropriate for the space and the project. The fittings we supply are chosen for their quality and durability, while custom pieces are designed by Bruce Munro himself and made by a superb team of engineers and craftsmen. Munro is also well known for large-scale spectacular outdoor installations, and here he lets his powerful imagination run wild.

Good Light Planning, for residential or public spaces, sets the mood and stirs emotions, and can transform the subconscious feeling of a space entirely. Creating a balance between functional and decorative light takes great attention to detail and is an art in itself. Bruce Munro, Andrew Johnston and their team have completed many Light Planning projects across the UK, Europe and further afield in Barbados and New Zealand.
