Children’s interests and learning opportunities are enhanced through enrichment weeks, sport events and festivals, educational trips and visitors.
A variety of out of school clubs have been very popular. Football and golf has been enjoyed by both boys and girls. Cookery has provided enhanced appreciation of healthy eating. Drama, Maths, ICT, Choir and Art clubs have all pospered. More recently a thriving gymnastic club has been established.
Children have made positive contribution to the community through money raising for various charities – Race for Life, the local children’s hospice and the Frenchay After Burns Club, MacMillan Cancer Care.
