Spread throughout England and Wales, these businesses operate in both traditional and niche markets, with a broad spread of expertise and construction skills ranging from land remediation, civil engineering, rail infrastructure, nuclear decommissioning and structural refurbishment through to traditional new build and fit-out. Britannia Construction Limited is largely responsible for the Group’s construction and civil engineering activities in the South West and Wales, with a particular expertise in the retail sector, having completed over 100 projects for Tesco since 1984 at a cumlative value in excess of £250m.

Whilst Britannia’s primary focus is in the retail, commercial and industrial sectors, we also have experience in leisure, education, healthcare and public sectors with a commitment to further expand our operations in these areas. Our construction services are tailored to ensure Clients requirements are met exactly; and the increasing complexity, which characterises many of today’s contracts, is accommodated smoothly and efficiently within a total package. Responsible for project conception to completion, the services we provide range from feasibility studies, cost advice and procurement to construction.
