Our friendly and efficient Carer Support Workers are highly trained and can assist with a range of personal care needs such as washing, feeding and dressing according to your individual needs. Our highly skilled staff can manage administering medication and complex care needs. Many of our clients, however, just appreciate a friendly face and someone to chat to for a few hours.
Detailed description:
So whether you have specific care needs or would just like someone to sit with your loved one and keep them company while you go out, we aim to provide continuity of care by matching your needs with a regular Carer Support Worker. This means that our clients will see the same staff member every week and build up a relationship with their worker. Crossroads Care can support you by taking over your caring role including a few hours respite each week or overnight stays. This gives you the chance to have a much needed break, attend doctor or hospital appointments, work, study, socialise, or do whatever it is that you enjoy! We work with both children and adults with most disabilities. Visits can be weekdays, weekends or evenings - we always aim to meet your needs.
