Our Facilities: Large car park directly outside- free of charge; Most private health schemes accepted; Easy access to treatment rooms; Easy access to toilet and washing facilities; Patients may be a accompanied if they wish. All our physiotherapists are fully qualified, registered with the Health Professions Council (HPC) and members of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (MCSP). This means they are governed by a professional code of conduct and all their treatment is covered by professional liability insurance. We pride ourselves on our high standards of clinical practice. Our Chartered Physiotherapists keep up to date with the latest techniques through attending postgraduate training courses.
You can therefore be sure that all our physiotherapists have the correct level of up to date training in order to provide you with the most effective treatment. At The Physiotherapy Health Centre Ltd we treat all types of fractures, whether they are recent fractures or several months or even years ago. It is not a problem if you are in a plaster as the treatment is very powerful and so will penetrate any plaster so there is no need for us to remove it. It is also not a problem if you have metal work in situ as the treatment is non-thermic so will not cause any heating effects.
The treatment is non-invasive and it does not hurt. You do not need to take any precautions prior to treatment and it does not affect your ability to drive afterwards. There are no side effects to these treatments.
