Short profile:
Pupils are offered a wide range of activities, in both scheduled lesson time, and in after school clubs. In school there is PE, which covers activities including Dance, Gymnastics, Athletics and Games such as Football and Cricket. This is a 'rolling' programme based around the seasons. In addition, the school has provided swimming at the nearby pool. After school the children are offered multi-skills, football and bowls. During holidays the school is visited by representatives from the local Leisure Centre offering a variety of sporting activities.
The school also continues to offer extra French, dedicated ICT, and Music lessons. There is also an after school Craft club and Drama club. The school introduced a Newspaper club, produced solely from the contributions of the Y5/Y6 pupils, which has proved popular throughout the local area. All these activities are well attended, and very popular with pupils, and parents.

As a Church School we believe that each child should; grow in awareness of their own value, respect themselves and others, recognise their concerns are important, be given a thorough and balanced grounding in all curriculum areas, particularly Literacy and Numeracy, that they should have significant moments in their school life to remember.
We achieve this through; being open and welcoming at all times, the Home-School Agreement, enthusiastic teaching, rewarding hard work and good behaviour, developing social awareness and skills.
