Brecon Beacons Natural Waters was started in 1978 as a cottage industry, in converted barns on Lwyndewi farm. In 1983 the Spadel Group acquired the company and started expanding the business into a major commercial operation. From our origins as a cottage industry, Brecon Carreg has matured into a major player that has consistently outperformed the UK water market, becoming the leading Welsh Natural Mineral Water brand both in Wales and in the United Kingdom as a whole.
Detailed description:
Sian is our Lab Technician and is responsible for all the quality control and assurance tests that are run for our source and in the bottling area. Sian is involved on internal and external audits, including ISO and British Retail Consortium. She conducts tests in the lab, and maintains our bottle reference library. This dates back two years, with bottles from every packaging run across that time held securely.
Gail lives in Tycroes and is our Company Co-ordinator. This involves her in everything from answering the phones, to organising free stock for local events, to sending out promotional flyers, to dealing with the post, timesheets and holiday requests. She also has a handy knack of appearing with a cuppa just when you need it!
