  • Fantastic school for my son who has Asperger's

The only school we could find which caters for my son who is very intelligent but has behaviour problems associated with his Aspergers.

The buildings and grounds are lived-in but beautiful. The first time we took our son on a visit he described Breckenbrough as 'my world'. Since he started at Breck my son is happy, less stressed and has better self esteem. The staff understand these boys and stretch them but in a way with which they can cope. The extra-curricular activities are amazing - my son's previous school couldn't cope with him on a school trip without me being there but through Breck he has been abseiling, orienteering, motorcycling, even on a day trip to Edinburgh. He is now keen to learn and has favourite subjects such as French.

While he previously would describe school as 'hell', he now says school is brilliant.
