Our school strives to create a high quality-learning environment that emphasises relationships as an important foundation for all learning experiences.
We have a strong emphasis on active learning, the acquisition of literacy and numeracy skills and endeavour to keep abreast of new approaches to teaching and learning that foster and build on children's interests and achievements.
Our school has a unique and superb outdoor environment with large playing areas, large produce garden and greenhouse, wildlife area, pond, extensive composting facilities and adjoining woodland used for forest school sessions.

What activities are available to pupils
In our key stage one department children are offered a range of activities .
In the morning there is a breakfast club that runs from 8.00 to9.00. Children greatly enjoy the activities that are on offer there.
Children have the opportunity to be selected for a number of positions in the school they are:
School Counsellor, Librarians.
Office monitors, Tuck shop assistant, Red Caps, Door monitors, Recycling monitors, We have just started this summer term an outside classroom which enables all children to excess the curriculum through practical activities like gardening.
The diverse contributions of parents and the wider community are greatly valued and hugely important in the partnership we undertake together to support and encourage your child’s development. We encourage parents/carers to participate fully in school activities.
