At Bound to be Beautiful we are keeping alive the ancient craft of fine bookbinding. In our Surrey workshops, using methods passed down through the centuries, we create beautiful leather bound albums and books in traditional and contemporary designs. We will bind any precious collection of memories into a lasting book for future generations to enjoy.
Our albums and books are crafted by hand from the finest bookbinding leathers and are individually designed to reflect a special occasion, a personality or perhaps a corporate image. These books and albums are unique and make very distinguished gifts for all occasions.
Detailed description:
As well as our leather bindings, we bind albums and books in alternative and complementary materials using silks and other fabrics or interesting hand-made and hand-decorated papers.
Whatever the occasion, contact either of us and we will be only too happy to discuss your requirements.
In addition to new hand bound books, we restore and repair old leather bound or cloth covered books. We have studied our craft under some of this country's leading bookbinders and are qualified in Fine Bookbinding and Book Restoration.
