Bosue Vineyard Wines. Cornish wine producer.
All the grapes we use are grown at Bosue, and following the completion of our winery in 2005/06, we can now process the grapes here and all the wine is made and bottled here. The only food miles the wine travels is to reach you!
Detailed description:
The first vines were planted at Bosue Vineyard in 1996 as a trial plot, followed by more extensive plantings in 1997, 1998, and 1999. More planting followed in 2004 and 2005, and we now have over 3500 vines producing red, white, rose and sparkling wine.
We usually produce two styles of white: a dry white wine, full of aroma and flavour and a more medium wine. The red is a full bodied dry red wine from the excellent harvest of 2006. Due to poor summer flowering, 2007 and 2008 was a quieter harvest and a lower yield but we have white and rose wines from 2009. Quality Sparkling Wine was released in Spring 2009, made from Orion grapes from 2006
