Short profile:

We want children who come to our school to be happy, safe and to enjoy their learning. We are a busy but friendly school with lots going on. The school provides a rich variety of activities both in and out of school hours.

Our school has gained both national and local awards and we are very proud of our achievements and of all our children.

The children have the opportunity to be involved in a very wide range of activities.These include:

regular visits from theatre companies.

visits to local amenities to support curriculum work.

involvement in school plays.

raising money for charities.

sports days.

football activity days.

parties.

involvement in competitions and local events.

A range of extra curricular activities are offered to the children.These include:

French tuition for all age groups at lunch-times.

Football lessons for Years 1 and 2 children after school.

Cookery, Dance and Craft clubs for Year 2 children after school.

Judo club for Year 2 children.

Multi-skills after school club for Year 1 children.

'Kids Club' run a Breakfast Club and After School Club during term time for the children.

We encourage learners to join in the full life of the school.
