Detailed description:
The school provides a comprehensive range of extra-curricular, leadership and enrichment activities. On transition from Primary School all students take part in a full day team building exercise and from that time forwards there is access to sports clubs, musical events, dance competitions and school productions. There is also a focus on study. Homework clubs work from the two school libraries and the majority of subjects offer after school enrichment activities. Cultural visits and international links are popular and the school fashion show, charity week, fundraising days, pantomime and school prom all provide unforgettable enrichment and pleasure. Outside of events for children in KS3 and KS4 there is a pre and post school activity and child care programme for the 5 11 age range.
The Regis School is a Specialist Sports College in which core values and attributes are consistently promoted. Leadership, teamwork and participation are encouraged and developed every bit as much as the pursuit of excellence. Standards are rising as reflected in our outcomes at 14, 16 and 18 and the number of students moving on to Higher Education. Our specialism drives the learning agenda and has attracted national recognition in recent years.
