BMI The Chaucer Hospital has 55 beds, 4 of which are located in our high dependency unit. Our patient rooms offer the privacy and comfort of en-suite facilities, satellite TV and telephone. The hospital has three theatres, 11 consulting rooms, high dependency unit and an HFEA licensed Assisted Conception Unit.

Detailed description:

These facilities combined with the latest in technology and on-site support services enable our consultants to undertake a wide range of procedures from routine investigations to complex surgery. This specialist expertise is supported by caring and professional medical staff, with dedicated nursing teams and Resident Medical Officers on duty 24 hours a day, providing care within a friendly and comfortable environment.

    My Mother uses this hospital, she has currently been suffering with hearing loss and was recommended the widex clear, the service was great and was fully explained what she would benefit from. I cannot complain, however I do see you can now get the same thing online for much better :(

    Do you want to be asked personal details at an open reception desk, including address, health insurer, and whether you have credit and debit card with you? I don't and was told I had to answer questions at the open desk and the receptionist would whisper - ok but I wear 2 hearing aids! When asked for the complaints leaflet I was handed registration procedure details - don't want to know how to improve service obviously.

    I have been going to the Chaucer for varying medical checkups for over 15 years, regularly and the procedures and reception area go downhill by the minute.
