Blue Flames is a multi sport site at Benton, North Tyneside, offering Indoor and Outdoor sport with excellent facilities.
Function rooms offer flexible features for Wedding Receptions, Functions etc.
Grounds Maintenance, including Grasscutting, Pitch marking, Scarifying, Chemical spraying etc. Verti-Drain equipment is available for end of season maintenance.
Detailed description:
The Blue Flames Sporting Club offer excellent facilities for Football, including a Northern League standard main pitch with floodlights, stands, changing facilities etc. 2 other full size pitches + 5-a-side facilities are also available. Cricket and Bowls (6 rinks) are also provided with good quality surfaces and supported by dedicated pavilions. The Indoor Sports Hall provides 3 courts for Netball, 5-a-side football, Tennis, Fitness training, 40 station Gymnasium etc. are well attended 7 days a week. Pre-booking is recommended.
3 Function Rooms (100 - 250 capacities) provide flexible facilities for Wedding Receptions, Celebration parties, Sportsmans Dinners etc. Catering Facilities and a Disco Hire is available to support on-site functions. Childrens parties are a weekly event. Race Nights, Caberet nights and Discos are also popular. Grounds Maintenance Services are made available to local Sports Clubs, Schools and Business premises, including Verti Drain, Scarifying, Chemical Spraying, Grass Cutting, Pitch Marking etc.
Call or email for more details or to arrange an appointment. The Annual Fireworks Display has run for 15 years and is extremely well supported by the local community. Car Boot fairs are held each Bank Holiday Monday. The Club is also dedicated to support local Charity activities, including the Annual Charity Day (25th July 2010)
