Blue was established in 1991 by designer Angela Pitcher Dowdell. She has an Honours degree in Fashion and Textiles (specialising in bridalwear during the last 18 months of her 4 year course) and worked as a graphic designer for several years after graduating.

Angela feels passionately that a wedding gown is the most important garment a woman will ever choose and the quality of the gown she chooses and the service she experiences should reflect this. Beside the studio in Cardiff Blue gowns are only available from selected bridal boutiques. Each of our stockists will give you the individual attention and quality of service you deserve for the most important day of your life.
