The firm was originally formed in 1992 and quickly established a reputation in the field of debt recovery both for its quality of service and for its cost effectiveness for clients.
Although the firm offers a wide range of litigation services both in the Sheriff Courts and in the Court of Session, a decision was taken in 2005 to focus on Debt Recovery.
The firm name changed at that time to Blacklocks to reflect the change in emphasis within the firm. With a wide range of commercial clients the firm also acts on instruction from debt collection agencies and from other legal firms both locally and throughout the United Kingdom.
